Make - A - Wish Foundation

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota invited clay artist, Anjee Emerson to guide a Wish Child in sculpting a piece of art to be auctioned during its Spring fundraising event. Anjee was paired with with Yvonne, a Wish Child who was interested in sculpting clay. With Anjee's assistance, Yvonne, who also likes dance, designed a sculpture featuring three delicately posed ballerinas.

Anjee Mai Creations donated all materials as well as instruction and production time to the project. Along with pieces from 100 Minnesota artist teams, Yvonne's ballerina sculpture was offered for auction at Make-A-Wish Minnesota's Wish Ball, the organization's annual black tie gala and top fundraiser, which will allow for the wishes of over 80 seriously ill children from Minnesota to be granted.

Minnesota Libraries

Every year, Anjee works with Libraries! She has guided over 5,000 students in sculpting clay projects during after-school and summer Arts Enrichment Programs

at dozens of libraries across northern and southern Minnesota.  This is made possible through MN grant money dedicated to providing more access to Arts programming outside of the metro areas.
