Anjee Mai Emerson Claymate Creations
Angela Emerson (pictured above, working with a student): founder, owner, artist, instructor

A sculptor since age 8, Anjee works with earth clay as well as polymer clay. Her colorful pieces tend toward the  funky and whimsical. "I  make monsters as metaphors for humanity," she describes. " In order to serve others' growth on this magical journey of life, we must trudge through fear and failure and make friends with our monsters. My art is a celebration of making friends with our monsters."

Anjee enjoys teaching sculpting techniques to enthusiasts of all ages. Through her art and teaching, Anjee aims to inspire playfulness, laughter and dreaming big.
