2023 Pricing

About Anjee: Anjee has been sculpting with polymer clay for over 30 years and teaching polymer clay workshops since 2007. She has taught thousands of kids and adults how to create amazing works of polymer clay art right out of their imaginations! She has been working and teaching out of her Art Studio in the heart of the NE Minneapolis Arts District since 2013 and is able to take her workshops on the road to homes, community centers, corporations, churches, and libraries.

Age: These workshops are ideal for ages 8+ and adults, or kids 5-7 working with an adult or teen helper

Workshop designed for your groups needs: Anjee can work with you directly to design a workshop that fits your group.

·     If you’re a library, Anjee can come up with a project to fit with your summer theme.

·     If you’re an organization, Anjee can create a project related to your goals, your mission, your logo, your values, or a collaborative project as a team/or small teams.

·     If you’re hosting a private party, Anjee can help you come up with a project or you can pick one from this list

Typically, these break down into 2 formats as outlined below.

Format 1) 90 min workshop

Projects in this format are predesigned and Anjee will use a photo illustration of the steps for creating the sculpture/figurine, this helps to target all learning styles.

Workshops of LESS THAN 15 participants: $45/participant

IF traveling to you: + packing/unpacking fee & travel fee based on mileage

Workshops of up to 15 participants: $650 ($525 per each additional workshop on the same day)

IF traveling to you: + packing/unpacking fee & travel fee based on mileage

Workshops of up to 30 participantss: $900 ($775 per each additional workshop on the same day)

MUST travel to you (max 20 participants in studio): + packing/unpacking fee & travel fee based on mileage

Format 2) 3 hour workshop

This is a great format for team building, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, and similar, as it is a little more laid-back pace. There is a 30 minute intermission during clay curing where your group can have time for another brief team activity, a meal, or cake and presents. During the break, Anjee will be cleaning up your workspaces and setting them up for glazing and wrapping up to take home so you will need a separate eating area if you are planning to have food at this time.

Projects in this format will fall under a theme and Anjee will give guidance on the structural integrity of each artwork. The class will typically be taught in an open ended, imaginative way so that each participating artist makes a creation all their own.

*** If Anjee is traveling to you please be able to meet the following Requirements:

  • A workshop space (ideally a separate room if over 6 participants in a class)

  • Enough tables and chairs to seat participants (Anjee is happy to set these up herself or if you would like to ahead of time: Set up should ideally (but not necessarily) be in a U shape classroom where the participants are on the outside of the U and Anjee can navigate from the inside of the U of tables to easily help each student)

  • Access to a sink to wash supplies after class

  • If the space does not already have a regular kitchen oven available for use you will need to have space to plug in one to two portable ovens that are not super close to the participants – they can be in the same room, just need a few feet of distance for safety

*** If you are working from home, virtually, to finish your clay masterpiece, you’ll need access to a regular kitchen oven to bake your piece at 270 degrees F for 30 mins. Do NOT use a microwave.
